• 15% Phosphor Copper - recognized for its quality and performance in deoxidizing alloys, increasing fluidity, and inhibiting gas porosity.
• 8% Phosphor Copper - used primarily in the production of 390 alloy aluminum as a grain refiner to enhance strength, wear resistance, and machinability of this aluminum-silicon casting alloy.

Choice of Forms and Packaging

• Both 15% and 8% phosphor copper are available in either shot or waffle plate form.
• Shot is ½ in. (12.7 mm) diameter and smaller, or can be specially sized to meet specific application needs. Shot can also be packaged in pre-weighed packets of 2 oz., 3 oz., 4 oz., and 6 oz.
• Waffle plate is semicircular and weighs approximately 15 lbs. (6.8 kg). Due to its brittleness, 15% phosphor copper waffle plate is easily broken into smaller pieces. Phosphor copper is also available in 2 oz. nuggets.
